According to Odaily Planet Daily, Aave reported that deposits in Aave V4 have exceeded $1.5 billion, setting a new all-time high. The growth in deposits indicates that the upgraded protocol is continuing to attract on-chain capital while expanding available liquidity across its lending markets. With deposits now above $1.5 billion, borrowing demand, capital utilization, and liquidity distribution across asset markets will remain important indicators to monitor.

Fun is building global funding rails for internet markets by integrating fragmented components such as fiat on-ramps, currencies, assets, wallets, and blockchain networks into a single embedded interface. The platform is designed to allow users to move funds into platforms, transfer assets across platforms, and withdraw funds more efficiently. The project focuses on cross-border payment infrastructure and embedded finance while seeking to reduce friction between different payment systems and on-chain assets.

The integration enables Miden to share part of Polygon’s cross-chain infrastructure with other networks in the ecosystem, creating additional pathways for assets and liquidity to move across different blockchain environments.
According to Cointelegraph, prediction market platform Kalshi has partnered with S&P Dow Jones Indices and will become a preferred platform for event contracts linked to S&P DJI indices. According to Odaily Planet Daily, Canada’s Department of Finance has launched a 60-day public consultation on draft stablecoin regulations, with the consultation period ending on December 23. Non-bank issuers would be required to maintain eligible reserve assets on a 1:1 basis and hold those reserves with qualified Canadian financial institutions. User redemptions would need to be completed within 3 business days, and the regulatory framework is expected to take effect around the end of 2027.

Recently, users should remain alert to fraudulent crypto investment schemes promoted through social media, text messages, dating platforms, and WhatsApp or Telegram groups. The FBI has warned that scammers often first build trust before directing victims to fraudulent investment platforms and encouraging repeated transfers of BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, or other digital assets. Some platforms may even allow small withdrawals at first to build credibility, before later demanding additional “taxes,” “fees,” or account-unlocking payments and blocking access to funds. Victims may also be targeted by secondary scams claiming to recover previously lost assets. Users should not transfer funds based solely on recommendations from people known only online, should independently verify platform domains and apps, and should never pay additional fees in exchange for withdrawals or supposed recovery services. If suspicious activity is detected, users should stop transferring funds immediately and report the incident through official channels such as IC3.
