Omnisys builds what it calls Battle Resource Optimization (BRO) software. The platform helps defense forces plan missions, allocate resources, and make real-time decisions across multiple combat domains simultaneously.

The company has been operating for 25 years and says BRO has been deployed in some of the world’s most advanced defense environments, including complex multi-layer air defense operations.

The deal is structured as a full acquisition of 100% of Omnisys. Ondas has filed a Form 8-K with the SEC with additional terms of the agreement.

Plugging Into Ondas’ Existing Architecture

BRO will sit alongside Ondas’ existing AI platform, SkyWeaver, acting as an orchestration and optimization layer.

Together, the two platforms are expected to create what Ondas calls a “sense-decide-orchestrate-act” framework — covering ISR, strike, electronic warfare, counter-UAS, and air defense missions.

Omnisys CEO Ofer Yarden said the company is excited to use Ondas’ global reach to expand BRO into international defense markets beyond Israel.

BRO’s vendor-agnostic design means it can work across different defense systems and infrastructure without being tied to specific hardware or platforms.

Why Ondas Wants This

Ondas has been building out its autonomous systems portfolio with ISR platforms, counter-UAS systems, and integrated defense solutions.

Adding a profitable, software-focused business with high margins fits squarely into that strategy.

Ondas said BRO will serve as a “core orchestration layer” across its growing portfolio — connecting sensors, platforms, and effectors into one operational framework.

The platform uses AI algorithms and operations research methods to generate real-time courses of action across a full mission lifecycle, from planning through post-mission analysis.

Oshri Lugassy, Co-CEO of Ondas Autonomous Systems, said BRO enables “true closed-loop operations” — a setup where detection, decision-making, and action all happen within one connected system.

Ondas added that the acquisition supports its push into U.S. and allied defense markets and accelerates its shift toward fully integrated, software-defined defense systems.
