'You're going to jail': Ex-GOP Trump foe says president's 'dementia' won't excuse crimes

A well-known former GOP insider dropped an ad that criticizes Donald Trump for his medical status, and raises the prospect of the president being held accountable in a criminal court.

George Conway, a former Republican who used to pal around with Trump but is now running for Congress as a Democrat, teased the president over the repeated cognitive tests he has taken.

"Hey, Trump—wake up, pay attention—that's not an IQ test they keep making you take," Conway said Saturday. "Dude, try to stay awake! It's a test for dementia! You still there??"

In a video advertisement, Conway said, "We're here at Walter Reed. Remember that place? You've been here a lot lately."

He goes on to say the test Trump keeps bragging about "is a dementia test," and adds, "Your doctors keep giving it to you because they're worried you have dementia."

Conway notes, however, dementia will not excuse him "for the crimes you've been committing."

"You're going to be impeached, convicted, and removed, and you're going to go to jail," Conway then added in the new ad.
