According to CoinDesk, BitGo Korea has obtained Virtual Asset Service Provider registration from the Korea Financial Intelligence Unit, allowing it to provide virtual asset custody and transfer services to institutional and corporate clients. BitGo said it is the first global digital asset company to secure the registration by establishing a new local entity rather than entering the market through an acquisition.
